DUELING PIANOS UNLIMITED

The musical phenomenon, “Dueling Pianos” is the nation’s newest nightlife entertainment trend to sweep nightclubs and corporate venues with frenzy. In fact, we believe “Dueling Pianos” is the single most enticing, energetic, interactive entertainment to hit this century (so far). “Dueling Piano” bars are popping up everywhere to supply the demand therefore DUELING PIANOS UNLIMITED has carefully prepared to provide traveling “Dueling Pianos” to select venues nationwide. Teams of players from “The Circuit” are organized and booked for calendar dates provided. A team leader equipped with the necessary production components facilitates the contracted venues with superior quality performances, geared toward capacity crowds of satisfied patrons (several veterans put a couple of trucks on the road and are storming local scenes everywhere).

What to expect: A truck and trailer arrive at your venue early afternoon to “load in”. Equipment is placed strategically to accommodate the show. The team leader will set up two pianos, a set of electronic drums, and a monitoring system to facilitate the show (PA and lighting are to be provided by the venue). A line-check and/or sound-check are expedited to insure functionality. Players arriving by air are organized for the event and prepared to perform as expected. Four performers carefully selected from “The Circuit” provide a non-stop performance of sing-along, interactive, fun-filled nostalgic energy (one of the players brings in all the gear, gets the rooms, grabs the other guys and knocks out the gig).

What we need: Upon first arrival, the venue should be prepared with a single stagehand to assist in load-in. The placement of the pianos is crucial to the success of the show. The entire emphasis must be placed on the availability of the players to the crowd. Patrons approaching the pianos to establish their place in participation are exactly what allow the players to best fulfill their requests. Ample and above adequate PA and lighting must be provided by the venue as to insure quality to in-house capacity crowds. Individual accommodations are required by the players as well as any necessary staff accompanying the show to perform specific duties. One meal per day is appreciated by our players if such a request is considered honorable. Ground transportation is required according to necessity to and from airport. In-house security should be on standby as needed (we need a little help setting up in the right place and have to have the sound and lights to make it look and sound good. Somebody needs to watch our backs, put us up and feed us too. Oh yea, we may need a ride also).

This little nitch is really fun and well sought after. We do our very best to make the most of it and a great many A+ players are at our disposal. This is a very competitive field that has actually been around for a long time. Several of the gentlemen that originated the industry as it were have been kind enough to educate us in the interim.
